We all know Modest Mouse is not on tour. Don’t worry it will happen again soon.
In the meantime post a comment on why I should post more photos from the gig you went too.
If I like your post and I have the photos I will let you see them.
-Pat
PS Great responses..! Keep em coming, i will start in the next day or so with all your requests.(after I tally them up..)The most requests will go first.

this picture is great. you should post a picture from the myrtle beach show because it was their first ever show in sc. And possibly if you took a picture of isaac’s finger being split open and put back together with glue or when they were playing good times waiting for his finger to heal real quick, it was so much fun.

Hey Pat, thanks for all of the great pics you post daily…I really look forward to a new one each day. I would love to see some pics of the Miami show at the Filmore. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed that show…and the venue rocked…it wasn’t over crowded (I am short so these things matter). I also was at the Miami show several years ago (Isaac mentioned it at the Filmore show) where they played at the ELKS Club!!! It was my first MM show so they could do no wrong by me!!! Anything you are willing to share would be excellent!!! THANKS!!

    Well Pat,
I’ve been a MM listener for 7 years…. I have all the cds.
I finally was able to get to a concert over the summer at Myrtle Beach, SC.
They didn’t let me take a camera in, and I’d love to see some more prints of it to help me remember my first show :)

Hey Pat! I was at the 8/17/07 show in Northampton, front row. Despite my passion of you guys, I have only had the privilege of seeing you guys just once (so far!). I could just spot me in the last photo you posted (i think the “ra” from your name was on my shirt!), and would love to see more. It was my birthday the day you posted it, and waking up to see that picture on the site was so meaningful to me and easily made my weekend.
I was recently asked by a friend of why or what about MM I love so much, to which on the spot I thought up “lyrics, music, meaning, intensity, awesomeness!” and I just thought that it was a wonderful phrase and that maybe you guys would too. Can’t wait for the next tour (Come to Connecticut!!!)

Hey Pat, I’d love it if you posted some more pictures from the House of Blues, Myrtle Beach, SC show (June 26, I think?). It was my second Modest Mouse show, and as far as I’ve seen from looking at old setlists, it’s the only show they’ve ever played in South Carolina. I think that’s pretty historic, don’t you? Wouldn’t want documentation of that event to be held secretive. :P Plus, there’s the fact that it was just an awesome show in general. I know there’s a lot of SC fans who probably saw Modest Mouse for the first time this year and who would appreciate some more photos from the show.

Hello Pat, I would love if you posted pictures from the Miami, Myrtle Beach, and Norfolk shows from this summer because I traveled to all three in one week! The picture of Isaac and Eric signing my back in Myrtle Beach would be incredible :) photo’s from the Miami show would be great because that was the first show of the tour with out REM and the guys were loving it and jammed out like 26 songs including Dramamine/Life Like Weeds! The Myrtle Beach show rocked because I was front row and Eric smiled at me and waved :) and they jammed out an amazing show. The Norfolk show was incredible because it was the first time DDBB and MM played together live and I was there to witness it! I also got extremely overheated and threw up and the person I was with got punched twice by some very large woman… I got sick during The Good Times Are Killing Me and literally the good times were killing me, and the crowd sang back and forth with Isaac so many times at the end of the song that I will never forget the echoing of all of our voices in unison.. “the goooood times are killing me”

To sum it all up, I had an amazing experience traveling from state to state this summer, meeting you, the guys, and getting to experience the music front row. I love and appreciate all of your guys’ time and dedication. If it weren’t for all of you, my mind would not think the way it does!

yo pat, you do a great job and i know you’ve been following these guys around for years. my first MM concert was at the festival pier in penns landing, philadelphia two summers ago in late august. before i went to that show i enjoyed the music, but it wasn’t until after that show i fell in love with these guys. i remember hearing extended versions of dramamine and tiny cities which completely rocked, they just so happen to be at the top of my list for modest mouse songs. i can’t get pictures from that show anywhere so maybe you can help. that concert changed my life and my overall interpretation of music. great show, great encore.

I think you should definitely post pictures from Cinco de Mayo in 2007. That show was my first Modest Mouse show and also introduced me to Man Man which is now one of my favorite bands. Not to mention there were all kinds of people from the crowd on the stage, although regretfully I was not one of them.

Pat, the show at the Norva was incredible. My wife and 16 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son went to NYC to see REM/MM. That show was good but when they played the Norva – GODDAM, that was a show! We live in the Atlantic City NJ area, so we racked up some miles those two weeks between NY and VA. Also, they played satellite skin at the Norva and having listened to it a lot recently, I hope they put it on the upcoming record. So, this one message should count for 4 votes for more Norva photos. Thanx and keep up the excellent work. We love the candid photos at fireworks shops and airports too.

    Hey Pat!

I was the Treasure Island Music festival, and it was the first time I had ever seen Modest Mouse, and it was the last show of their tour. I have never been so enthralled in all my life. The most amazing moment of the whole show was at the very end of “Spitting Venom”, when Isaac throws in ” Who needs hell, when we’ve got ourselves, who needs hell, when we’ve got ourselves….what good is hell when we’ve got ourselves?” Such powerful words for such a powerful night.

Any pictures of Modest Mouse tearing up that night would be amazing!

Please post pics from rostraver. I drove 5 hours both ways just to see these lovely boys put on a show (i wasn’t disappointed) and the atmosphere was almost perfect. I heard maybe one jeer the whole time, and the 20+ song setlist was more than any mm fan could ask for. Plus I want to see if I made into any pictures : ).

As a side note, not sure if this counts for anything, but I own nearly every modest mouse vinyl ever put into print. I’m just missing the UC Diggin’ Holes 7″.

Because MM Rocked that night (they do every time they play), MM played a song that we had not heard before and spent hours finding it because like everything else they put out it was awesome!!!!! When is King Rat coming out?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! SC never had such a wonderful band visit us and hope MM will return! The Atlanta show was too comical (not because of MM)….MM was the BEST band at the mistle to jam!!!! Plus we want to see all the pic you took Pat….we enjoyed watching u shoot pics while the band rocked! We also LOVE your book~silent pictures!

I drove 6 1/2 hours from St. Louis to see MM for my 3rd time.

I was going to camp at a campground, that rain storm was incredible. Powerful.

Drank beers in the car until the rain gave up, broke through the fence with the buddy i was with (his first time seeing MM) and made our way throuhg the 4 inch rain puddle on the ground and saw an amazing set which I wish went on until the early morning…

still taking requests, Pat? I’m hoping for more pics from the Ryman show. if I were a greedy man, I might say it’s because we met the guys in the alley before the show and I saw you taking a ton of pics, so I know you’ve got them. or perhaps vain: “we were down by the stage in front of the legendary Mr. Marr. I was wearing a blah blah blah shirt and I’d love to see myself posted on MM’s website.” alas, I’m taking the high road here and asking for more pictures from the Ryman show because it’s the RYMAN – the Mother Church of American Music!!! and don’t we all owe the Ryman a little something extra? Thanks, Pat…I know you’ll do the right thing.

if you’re still taking votes i was deffinately going to put one in for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
It was my first time seeing MM and it was amazing. I was in the very front row where there are two pictures i see myself in which is awesome. I had some dude who was basically sweating on me which when i think about it is pretty gross, but didn’t even bother me just thinkin i was at this concert.
Me and some other dude also tried to pick my friend up to crowd surf, which only lasted about two seconds before plunging to the ground.
so anyways, Modest Mouse should definately come back again when on tour next year or somewhere atleast close to south carolina and i’ll definately be there again.
