The big mistake
Modest Mouse guitar techs Brian Watson and Abe mistook David Letterman’s desk as a guitar amp.
The two claim they were not trying to take it and thought it was a vintage Peavey amp that needed repair.
Luckily drummer/MMs drum tech Davey Brozowsky stepped in to prevent the mishap.
