I just now started listening through Modest Mouse’s full setlist and I have been blown away. I am a young song writer and Modest Mouse has inspired me in many ways. I hope to see alot more from this band.

I just bought two more albums (the moon and antarctica and good news for people who love bad news) yesterday. 3rd planet is still my favorite song by them, along with barnacles. Modest Mouse ROCKS.

…mildly confused about NO ONE’S FIRST AND YOU’RE NEXT. I’ve been a huge mouse fan since around 2000, and hold the whole catalog very, very dear. It took me a little time to warm up to GOOD NEWS, I immediately loved WE WERE DEAD, but this material just seems forced. I listen with no bias or elitist compromises, not trying to put it down, just at a loss…..might I have some sort of “mouse dementia”? Could my years of constantly intimate jamming have driven me mad?

the first time i saw modest mouse was in 1997. i played them for my friends and everyone fell in love w/ it. seen them 10 or more times since then – including when isaac’s jaw was broken at coachella. then they added johnny marr, my favorite guitarist ever. what next? can this band get any more phenomenal? eagerly awaiting the new record. keep it up – from a long time fan.

The only that speaks clearer than than their lyrics is their melodies, let it all drop!
