chains
Modest Mouse tour, April 1997. We were in Montana, stuck in a blizzard. finally got some chains put on
after a crash. <p>The snow covered the road then a few miles later we had to take them off, due to sparks, and no snow on the road.

Taken from Silent Pictures

The Towers in NYC had just fallen, and we just got up. Went to have breakfast (continb) at our Holiday Inn, outside of LA.

Driving to LA, I saw smoke in the distance.

A Luxury 1998

It was a luxury for us to get one hotel room. Since we only had 2 double beds between five people, someone always got the floor. With some handy cushions from the vansion Isaac took to the floor on this night.

We were driving from Montana to Chicago. It was April 1997. Spring? We had no idea there would be a blizzard and chains would be needed.

Modest Mouse in Olympia, 1996

This was the first time I saw Modest Mouse. During the day Isaac had just picked up this new guitar, he was really into.

For some reason he needed a vice grips to hold it all together(see the neck of the guitar) This was also the first time I met Jeremy and Eric. MM was opening for the Make Up. This photo and many more are featured in my book of photography Silent Pictures
