The Fruit That Ate Itself And Sad Sappy Sucker Re-Issues + Bridge School Benefit
Modest Mouse’s re-issues of The Fruit That Ate itself and Sad Sappy Sucker are in stores!
The Fruit That Ate Itself EP was originally released in 1997 via K Records and Sad Sappy Sucker was originally released in 2001 also through K Records. The CD and vinyl are out now on Glacial Pace Recordings and can be ordered through the Glacial Pace website. The releases are also available at iTunes and other digital music outlets.
Modest Mouse will be appearing at Neil Young’s 24th Annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, CA. The band will be performing on October 23 and 24th.
Modest Mouse to Play Pitchfork Music Festival
Modest Mouse are excited to announce they will be playing the 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival on Friday, July 16. The festival is held at Chicago’s Union Park July 16-18.

Introducing the second limited edition Modest Mouse Photo zine, featuring photos of the band from recent tours by Pat Graham and edited by Isaac Brock. The MM zine series provide an intimate documentary of life on tour with Modest Mouse, against a backdrop of changing landscapes, venues and performances. The second zine includes many previously unpublished images as well as favorites from the photoblog, with captions and hand written stories from the band and Pat Graham. Modest Mouse has announced they will release their ‘Autumn Beds’ 7” single on June 23rd. This collector 7” will this time be on on black vinyl with an embossed sleeve and individually numbered to 4000.
The never-before-released track ‘Autumn Beds’ is backed with another new track, ‘Whale Song.’ This special vinyl will be available nationally at retail, with the songs also offered on iTunes.

Modest Mouse has announced they will release their ‘Satellite Skin’ 7” single on May 26th. This collector 7” will be on limited edition orange vinyl with an embossed sleeve and individually numbered to 4000. The never-before-released track ‘Satellite Skin’ is backed with another new track, ‘Guilty Cocker Spaniels.’ This special vinyl will be available nationally at retail, with the songs also offered on iTunes.
On May 13, ‘Satellite Skin’ will make its audio premiere on MySpace. The video for ‘Satellite Skin’ was directed by Kevin Willis (Tool) and will make its debut on MySpace on May 15 . www.myspace.com/modestmouse

Modest Mouse photozine/book
In support of the photoblog and my work with Modest Mouse we have created the first LTD publication of Pat Graham Modest Mouse photography.
RAEN Optics and Pat Graham present the first ever Modest Mouse photozine/book, featuring many unreleased photos from the Pat Graham/Modest Mouse archive.
This zine also features captions and hand written stories from Isaac and Pat. A limited run of 1000 will be only available to purchase at the venues on Modest Mouse's Feb-March 2009 tour. An additional 200 copies are being sold online by RAEN.
These are very limited and will sell out so act fast.
