The other night(St Augustine) I was crawling around behind the amps taking pictures.
Song ends, and Eric leans back to me and says “Can you get me a snack?”
I laughed yeah good one..I went and asked Loftus if this was for real,
he said i don’t know. Back to my spot below the drums..
Eric leans over again, “any luck with the snack, I’am starving..”
I went to the dressing room and made him a peanut butter sandwich
cut to bite size pieces(like I do for Honor). Added some carrots, chips, and trail mix.
I figure its gotta be easy to eat and fast between songs.
With camera and snack plate I headed back and set the food on his amp.
Eric grabbed a bite just a second before he hit his bass for Satin in a coffin.
Later Tom told me Eric asked him during the set if he had peanut butter on his face..
Anyhow snack worked and the show was amazing..-Pat

Dark clouds loom…

On the last song of the set, Satin in a coffin…a bolt of lighting hit the peak of this building.

MM played on for a moment and then the place was evacuated.
We watched from stage as crew cleared the gear and the water..

Lighting keeps striking

About a hour later the lighting calms and REM takes the stage with a cover of Who will stop the Rain.
As it buckets down on band and fans..

For those that stuck around it was a amazing show by nature and bands…
